Stampin' Up! Pootlers's Blog Hop - Beautiful You card

Stampin' Up! Beautiful You card

Hello everyone - today's post is part of the Pootler's blog hop, please take some time to hop around the other blogs.

The blog hop is showcasing the new Spring/Summer catalogue, and I chose the lovely Beautiful You stamp.

This stamp set is lovely and can be used in many different ways. I used ink pads, an Aqua painter, and shimmery white card (which doesn't show up well in the photos), to colour in the figures. I kept the brush quite dry so I didn't saturate the card with too much water.

I made all the cards in the same way - cut out with a layering oval framelit. For the background I used the abstract stamps from the stamp set tone on tone with the card I had used.

So the cards look clean and simple which I like.

The colours I've used here are all InColurs - Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim and Flirty Flamingo.
