Hello, and welcome to the Pootler's team blog hop - we'd love it if you'd take the time to hop around everyone's blog.
I chose to use the Crafting Forever stamp set for my entry - plus the Wood Textures DSP. When I first saw the Crafting Forever stamp set I loved it but didn't know if I'd use it a lot. Well, I'm glad I ordered it to prove myself wrong! I think I wll get loads of use out of it.
For these cards I used Stampin' Up! shimmery white card to stamp the brushes and pot so that I could watercolour them using mostly the new In Colors although a couple of others snuck in there too.
Then I used my trimmer to cut as close to the pot as possible, then fussy cut around the edg of the pot. I've used the wonderful Wood Textures DSP as a background.
I made all of these cards for a card swap but thought they needed another airing! This second lot is nearly the same, I just used the lovely stitched framelits to cut around the pot and sentiment.
I'm usually not very good at using DSP but I can see me using lots of this - great for masculine cards too.
You can use the Next and Previous buttons below to hop around everyone else in today's hop - have fun, and I hope you find lots of great ideas!

I made today's card a while ago, but I've been a bit slow with my blogging recently so I've only just got around to posting it.
I love the flowers from the Botanical Builder framelits. They go with the Botanical Blooms stamp set but I didn't use that here.
I die cut the flowers and stamen from Whisper White card and then sponged them with Perfect Plum, Melon Mambo and Sweet Sugarplum. For the stamen I used So Saffron. I like that you can see a little bit of white on the flowers.
I used a thinlit from Swirly Scribbles (matching stamp set is Swirly Bird), to create a kind of trellis for the flowers to grow up, and put everything on some a sheed of DSP from the Scerene Scenery paper stack.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is heat embossed in gold and from the Rose Wonder stamp set.
Don't forget that if you live in France, the UK, the Netherlands, Austria or Germany you can order any of these items from my online shop - click on the items in the box below to order them.

There's nothing like a good birthday cake card is there. I hadn't planned on buying this stamp set from the Spring/Summer catalogue although I liked it. But I've seen so many great cards made with it that I decided that I did indeed 'need' it.
I've tried a few different colour combinations using Cake Crazy, and I thought this one would be good for girls or boys/men or women.
You put together the each layer with 2 step stamping which is clever. In fact you can use 3 layers on the bottom layer which is what I have done - I used copper embossing powder then So Saffron and Dapper Denim ink.
There are different words, or you can just pile up the cake layers, the choice is yours which gives lots of possibilities for different cards. I like stamp sets that have lots of combinations!
This stamp set is in the current Spring/Summer catalogue and would count towards a Sale-a-bration item: until the end of March there are FREE products available for every €60/£45 you spend.
If you live in France, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany or Austria and you'd like more details please feel free to contact me.

Yay , it's time for another Pootler's blog hop! This time we're featuring Sale-a-bration items. That means that all the blogs on the hop have made cards, bags and boxes that have a Sale-a-bration item in them.
I have chosen Tasty Trucks, and pretty much case'd a card from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Well, it looked so good I thought I'd have a go myself.
I used watercolour paper to colour in the truck, then fussy cut it out. As the Stitched Framelits are back on sale I put my truck on onto a stiched framelt circle.
The backbround I embossed using the Seaside embossing folder. That's about it, a simple but effective card.
So, how do you go about getting yourself some Sale-a-bration goodies like the Tast Truck? For every €60/£45 you spend between now and the end of March you get to choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration brochure. That's for every €60/£45, so if you spend €120/£90 you get to choosse 2 FREE items and so on.
That is the only way you get these products, you can't buy them separately. Don't forget of cours the great joining offer (2 FREE stamp sets), and extra Stampin' Rewards available during Sale-a-bration.
These are the other blogs participating in the hop, we'd love it if you had time to visit them all!

Today I've made a card that cases the Spring/Summer catalogue. I've changed the colours slightly, but not much, and I love the result.
I found that I had to stamp the balloons more than once on the Crumb Cake cardstock, so I used the stamp positioning tool that my husband made me. I would advise trying out these stamps on scrap paper first to check the coverage of the ink.
I popped the balloons up on dimensionals to and some dimension to the card. I think this would be great as a masculine card, in fact I think the whole suite has some great ideas for men.
Don't forget that if you buy the stamp set and dies as a bundle you'll get 10% discount, plus you'll be very close to earning a FREE Sale-a-bration item, some accessories will take you to the magice €60/£45 target.
Look out for a Pootler's Blog Hop post on Saturday, featuring Sale-a-bration items. I love Pootler's blog hops, hopping around everyone's post and seeing what they've created is great fun! Hope to see you then.
