Today's post is part of the Pootler's blog hop - you can make your way round the hop by clicking on the Next and Previous buttons below.
I've used the Merry Mice stamp set to make this card - I love it! I have three cards to show you over the next week, all made using one of the three main mice stamps.
I stamped the mice onto watercolour paper and then used an Aqua Painter and ink pads to colour them in. I just cut an oblong panel out to begin with but thought that looked too plain, so I used the largest of the Lots of Labels thinlit dies to make the ends a bit more interesting.
Isn't the background layer fabulous? It's made with the new Cable Knit embossing folder. It's called a Dynamic embossing folder because it's deeper and thicker than usual to give and extra dimension to the embossing.
I have seen this embossing folder used as tyre tracks and made into a cardigan card too, so there are lots of possibilities.
Hope you enjoy the hop! Don't forget that if you live in the UK, France, the Netherlands, Germany or Austria you can order from my shop and have your parcel delivered direct to you.
