This is the second card in my mini-series using the Merry Mice stamp set. Isn't this little singing mouse lovely?
I've used Kraft cardstock for the card base, and water colour paper for the image and to emboss on. I didn't really want the Kraft cardstock to show in the middle of the card so I used a piece of silver foil card between the two pieces of watercolour card.
This time instead of Aqua Painters I used the Blender pens - available in a set of three they last forever, and I think give a deeper colour.
The little mouse lent himself to the oval layering framelits because of his shape. And then I added the sentiment along the bottom.
I hope you like him. There's one more card to show you using this stamp set, so look out for my next post in the next couple of days.
