I'm back today with another Swirly Bird card. This one features kites as you can see. These kite shapes are not easy to pick out from the stamp set - there are two stamps to make them, but once you realize what they are, they are just another great reason to buy the set!
I've never stamped kites on a card before, but I love them. I have sponged some clouds in the background, but they're not very visible in the photos.
I decided to make this card into a birthday card. The die cut Happy is from the Hello You thinlits, and I heat embossed the Birthday bit using silver embossing powder. The word Birthday comes from the new Thoughtful Banners set, but you could use any Birthday that fitted.
I've used Kraft card for the layer, on top of Whisper White thick cardstock.
Don't forget that the Swirly Bird stamp set is available as a bundle with the Swirly Scribbles thinlits, with a 10% discount.
There's another Swirly Bird card to come in the next post, this time featuring a boat, so don't forget to come back on Wednesday.
