Stampin' Up! Picture Perfect meets Awesomely Artistic

Stampin' Up! Picture Perfect meets Birthday Blossoms

I have made several different versions of this card - all for your benefit of course! The hummingbird stayed the same, but I wanted to try different flower combinations.

The lovely hummingbird comes from the stamp set in the Spring/Summer catalogue and is called Picture Perfect. There's also a starfish in the set, and a flower and leaves - quite how the starfish fits in I don't know. However, they all have one thing in common, each element is a two step stamp set.

In fact this hummingbird has four separate stamps. I won't pretend that I found it easy to line them all up, but at least with photopolymer stamps you can see where you're stamping.

The flowers and greeting come from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set, and I've punched three extra flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set. A rhinestone in each finished them off.

There are lots of different colour combinations you could use for the hummingbird - here I've used Soft Sky, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black and Calypso Coral. The flowers are Perfect  Plum.

I've tried different flower stamps that I'll keep for another time.
