Stampin' Up Botanical Blooms card

Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms card

Sometimes a stamp set is released that you know is going to become a real favourite, and this is one of them. In fact, I've only used two stamps on this card (on the leaves), the rest is die cut with the co-ordinating dies. That long leaf die at the edge is fantastic isn't it. I know that I am going to be making card after card with this set.

The bundle that Stampin' Up! has put together for this set is a little different. You get the stamps, the dies, and the designer series paper that goes with it all with a 15% discount.

For this card I've used Very Vanilla and Watermelon Wonder cardstock for the base, then Old Olive, Hello Honey and more Very Vanilla for the flowers and leaves. I sponged the flowers to add a bit more interest.

Not much more to say really, I'll let the card talk for itself. I'm going to try just using two colours for a card and see how that comes out. Some sets are worth the investment, and I think this is one of them!

If you bought the bundle, you'd also qualify for the matching vellum, or Botanicals for You stamp set, FREE in the Sale-a-bration catalogue, until 31 March.
