Ooooh isn't this card lovely? I have made several versions of this card I'm going to show you this week. All are heat embossed with different coloured powder.
The stamp set is Birthday Blooms, and I love it. I stamped it onto Shimmery White card so that I could heat emboss and then watercolour it. On this version I've used gold embossing powder, with Old Olive, Blushing Bride and So Saffron ink, put on with an Aqua Painter. By going back over the ink you can make it darker at the bottoms of the petals.
I stamped the main rose from the set again onto Pool Party card for the mat, and also used some of the delicious Pool Party glimmer ribbon to finish it off.
Later in the week I'll show you more cards made with this stamp and the same inks. Using different coloured embossing powders you can create completely different looks for your cards.
Hope you like them!
