Stampin' Up! Beautiful Ride card for the Pootler's Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Ride card

As soon as I saw this stamp set I knew I was going to love it. There are so many things you can do with it.

Here I've used Shimmery White card because it's great for colouring on. I've used Stampin' Write Markers to colour in everything. But you can use Aqua Painters and watercolour in it without it crinkling up.

I like the fact that you get a shimmery finish to the whole card:

I fussy cut the suitcases to add some dimension the card, and I'm really pleased with it.

I made another one, also using Shimmery White paper, that I watercoloured on. Here it is:

You could also colour the background which is what Stampin' Up! did in the Spring/Summer catalgoue:

    1. Hello Dawn - the shimmery white paper is great: you can colour and watercolour on it without it warping. We have family staying til the middle of April but it would be good to get together after that and see what we could create!
