Stampin' Up! Barnyard Babies card

Stampin' Up! Barnyard Babies card

The Barnyard Babies stamp set has been so popular for me with friends and customers that I thought I'd show you the most recent cards I've made using it.

For these I've used the little piggy stamp on Shimmery White card stock. I used the Shimmery White because you can stamp and then watercolour on it without it going crinkly. And of course you get the slight shimmer from it.

I've layered the piggies onto Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, then used paper from the Cherry On Top DSP, and Schoolhouse DSP for the background.

I've used Blushing Bride, Soft Sky and Old Olive for the watercolouring, with an Aquapainter.

Hope you like them!

Don't forget that Sale-a-bration lasts until 31 March. For every €60/£45 you spend in the Annual and Spring/Summer catalogue you get to choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Or, if you think you might like to join Stampin' Up! as a demo during Sale-a-bration then you get an extra €45/£30 of products. So, you can choose €220/£160 of products for only €129/£99 with no ties!
That's a brilliant offer.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Ride card for the Pootler's Blog Hop

This post is a part of the Pootler's Blog Hop!

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Ride card

As soon as I saw this stamp set I knew I was going to love it. There are so many things you can do with it.

Here I've used Shimmery White card because it's great for colouring on. I've used Stampin' Write Markers to colour in everything. But you can use Aqua Painters and watercolour in it without it crinkling up.

I like the fact that you get a shimmery finish to the whole card:

I fussy cut the suitcases to add some dimension the card, and I'm really pleased with it.

I made another one, also using Shimmery White paper, that I watercoloured on. Here it is:

You could also colour the background which is what Stampin' Up! did in the Spring/Summer catalgoue:

Stampin' Up! A Nice Cuppa and Cups & Kettles card

Stampin' Up! A Nice Cuppa card

As soon as I saw the A Nice Cuppa in the Spring/Summer catalogue I knew I'd have to buy it - I love tea! I rarely drink coffee, maybe two or three cups a year, but I'll drink tea anytime.

I like the heart shaped steam, and the slice of lemon stamps too. And as you can see I've used the Cups and Kettles framelits dies for the teapot and teacup. I've also used the wonderful new Timeless Textures here on the teapot and background mat.

I used Soft Sky card for the teapot and some of the Love Blossoms DSP for the cup.

As you can see I added some rhinestones along the bottom of the cup because I thought it looked like it needed something else added to it.

Don't forget too, that if you buy the A Nice Cuppa stamp set, and Cups & Kettles framelits together as a bundle you'll get a 15% discount. And, you'll nearly have enough for a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration brochure - for that you need to spend €60/£45. Please contact me if you need anymore information about this.

Stampin' Up! Bloomin' Love Valentine's card

Stampin' Up! Bloomin' Love Valentine card

I don't usually do Valentine's day - my husband says it's an excuse for shops to make money and I tend to agree, but ....

Today's card is pink and glittery - isn't it lovely? This is the new Bloomin' Love stamp set from the Spring/Summer catalogue with matching dies. If you buy both together you get a 15% discount which is great value.

I've use the new Blushing Bride glimmer paper for the die cut heart, and complimented it with a Blushing Bride mat and ink.

You don't have to use this for Valentine's Day of course, it could be a card for someone you love at any time of the year.

A small piece of advice - I used the new Die Brush that Stampin' Up! have added to their products to get the little pieces out of intricate dies, and it is very useful.

Hope you like it!

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Honeycomb Happiness card

This post is part of the Pootler's Blog Hop - more info below!

Yippee, it's Sale-a-bration time of year, and this is one of the FREE stamps you can earn. Isn't he just so cute? This set is called Honeycomb Happiness, and features the chick, an icecream, and a balloon, as well as 3 sentiments.

I stamped this chick with Stazon, onto watercolour paper, and used So Saffron and Tangelo Twist to colour him in. The background paper is from Sweet Li'l Things DSP in the Annual catalogue.

During Sale-a-bration, until 31 March, you can earn a FREE stamp set or paper for every €60/£45 you spend in either the Annual or Spring/Summer catalogue. That's for every €60/£45, so if you spend €60/£90 you get to choose 2 free items, and so on.

I tried the same layout using a different colour chick:

Looks different doesn't he? You could try all sorts of colours for him. He'd be great as a birthday card, or for Easter.

Don't forget the icecream and balloon stamps:

So, from one stamp set you have lots of combinations. A great freebie I think. There are several stamp sets and DSP suites to choose from, as well as Project Life items in the Sale-a-bration booklet - all free with a qualifying order.

Click on the Spring/Summer catalogue, and Sale-a-bration links in the sidebar to see what's available.
