Stampin' Up! New baby card using Cookie Cutter Christmas bear and Cable Knit embossing folder

Stampin' Up! new baby card using Cookie Cutter Christmas bear and cable knit embossing folder

This is my last post for 2016 and I've chosen a new baby card to show you. I made these cards using the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set, with the Cable Knit embossing folder

So you see there is a use for the Cookie Cutter Christmas set beyond Christmas. And of course the Cable Knit embossing folder is useful for lots of things.

I used the new Stitched Framelit ovals to put the bears on, and that's about it really, a simple but effective card.

The sentiments are from the Made with Love stamp set.

You'll be pleased to hear that although both the stamp set and embossing folder were in the Autumn/Winter catalogue they will both be carrying over and you will still be able to order them.

Next ..... the new Sring/Summer catalogue goes live on January 4th with some great new stamp sets, dies, DSP, embellishments etc.

If you'd like a copy of the catalogue, and a Sale-a-bration brochure and you live in France, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany or Austria please contact me.

Happy New Year to you all, and thank you for your continued support.

Stampin' Up! Sweet Cupcake card

Stampin' Up! Sweet cupcake card

Well, after a bit of a break from blogging I'm back! I thought I'd start off with this cupcake card using the Sweet Cupcake stamp set. I waited for ages before buying this stamp set and dies, but I love it, and I'm so glad I bought it.

Although this cake is in pinks - Blushing Bride and Watemelon Wonder, you can also use yellows to make a card more suitable for men. Or even some coffee coloured icing would look good too.

Both the top and bottom of the cake are built up with three different stamps, - three layer stamping.

On this card I've used the gold speciality paper from the Pop of  Pink DSP, and gold glimmer paper for the swirl and Wish die.

I think I'll be using this set for a long time. It's in the annual catalogue, and if you buy the stamp set and dies together there's a 10% discount.

I have one more card for you on Friday that uses items from the Autumn/Winter catalogue, then on January 4th the Spring/Summer catalogue launches. Hooray!

And don't forget Sale-a-bration too from January 4th til March 31st. For every €60/£45 you spend in the Spring/Summer or annual catalogue you get to choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration brochure. That's each €60/£45, so if you spend €120/£90 you can choose 2 free items and so on.

More details to come, watch this space .....

Stampin' Up! Cookie Cutter Christmas card with Softly Falling embossing folder

Cookie Cutter Christmas card with Softly Falling embossing folder

I'm just getting into full Christmas card mode.  Lots of you will have started already I know, but I've found it hard to get started this year.

Anyway, this is one of the first cards I've made this year. I've used the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and accompanying punch for Santa. This is such a useful set, and very cleverly put together so you can punch out all five of the main stamps, including Rudolf, using the punch.

The tree and sentiment are from the Peaceful Pines set that has thankfully carried over from last year and is in the annual catalogue.

And the Softly Falling embossing folder has also carried over from last year. Hurrah!

I used blender pens to colour in Santa - you could use Stampin' Write markers, but I found the blender pens worked for me. I stamped and punched Santa on Shimmery White card to make colouring him easier.

Stampin' Up! Number of Years golden anniversary card with gold heat embossing

Stampin' Up! Number of Years golden anniversary card

This is the second card I made recently using the Number of Years stamp set, and Large Numbers Framelits.

As this card is for a 50th - golden - anniversary, I decided to make it very gold. Instead of die cutting the numbers out of gold card, I used white card to cut the numbers so that the gold card showed through.

Then I got out my gold embossing powder and went to town! The sentiment and banners are also from the Number of Years stamp set and Large Numbers Framelits, and the flowers in the corner come from the Bloomin' Love set.
