Stampin' Up! Serene Silhouettes embossed birthday card

Stampin' Up! Serene silhouettes embossed card

Hello everyone! Today's card features the lovely Serene Silhouettes stamp set, and some embossing. I wanted to use the flower stamp as a silhouette rather than colouring it, so it needed something else around it to give it a bit of oomph.

So, after I stamped the silhouette, I cut out a hole in another piece of card, using one of the Lots of Labels framelits, then embossed it using the Arrows embossing folder.

I used Pacific Point Stitched Satin Ribbon, and Tempting Turquoise for the sentiment. Et voilĂ !

Now, a couple of dates for your diary.

On Friday September 25th I'll be at the coffee morning in aid of Macmillan and Cancer Support France. It's at La Maison du Canal, just outside Rostrenen on the Plouray road. It's from 10.00am  to 1.00pm, come along and support a good cause.

Then, on Sunday October 11th I'll be at the Royal British Legion Troc, at Le Sourn, near Pontivy.

Also - a big shout out to Dorothy who is doing a tandem parachute jump this Friday to raise money for this year's Poppy appeal. You can sponsor her here - www.frenchcottagesonline.co.uk/jump Wow, good luck Dorothy!
