Stampin Up! Papillon Potpourri on Night of Navy card

Stampin Up! Papillon Potpourri, Night of Navy card

I wanted to make a card that used the Papillon Potpourri stamp set, but not in a pink kind of way if you know what I mean. There will be plenty of pink butterflies in the future I'm sure.

These butterflies are stamped in Night of Navy and the card base is also Night of Navy. I kind of like the contrast between the butterflies and the darker ink.

I've stamped the ledger stamp from The Open Sea onto Very Vanilla as a background, and then the butterflies on top.

This stamp set has two punches that co-ordinate with it, the Elegant Butterfly punch for the larger butterflies, and the Bitty Butterfly punch for the smaller butterflies.

I used the Bitty Butterfly punch for two butterflies on this card. I'm pleased with it - it's not overly feminine, but attractive none the less. Hope you like it!

    1. Glad you like the card! I've used half a sheet of card stock for the main card (folded in half). For me that's an A4 sheet cut at 14.9cm and folded in half, so the card front is 14.9cm x 10.5cm. The Very Vanilla piece is 0.5cm shorter and narrower - 14.4cm x 10cm.
