Mini milk carton box tutorial

Aren't these little milk carton boxes so cute? Thanks for the wonderful Sam Hammond Donald for the original idea. They're just big enough to hold 4 Roses chocolates so you could make a tub of Roses go a long way with these!

Stampin Up! mini milk cartons

To make these boxes you need a piece of card stock 8¼ins x 5½ins (21cm x 14cm).

Using the scoring board, score along the long side at  1 7/8", 3 3/4", 5 5/8", 7 1/2″ (that's 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm)

Fold each score line, then, making sure the smallest score on the long side is at the top, cut up to the first score line at the bottom. The smallest little piece of card is removed entirely (see photo).

Cut four pieces of decorative paper at 1¾" x 1¾" (4.5cm x 4.5cm) and stick the on the squares along the middle.

Add tape or glue to the edges shown in the photo and stick together. For the bottom, fold in the other three sides first and secure with the taped side.

Then push together the top to make a milk carton shape, decorate with some embellishments, and voila! Your box is made!

The DSP (designer series paper) for both of these boxes was Sweet Dreams from the Spring/summer 2015 catalogue, and the card stock was Sahara Sand and Mossy Meadow.
